What we expect in general:

Strong skills in designing interactive dashboards and translating business needs into actionable insights (Power BI).
Excellent command of writing complex queries, optimising performance, and managing large datasets - SQL
Hands-on experience with Azure (minimum 3 years)
Experience in data processing, automation, and building scalable data pipelines with Python and PySpark.
Understanding of cloud data warehousing, lakehouse architecture concepts and performance optimisation. (Databricks, Snowflake)
Background in data modelling - understanding of various modelling approaches such as star schema and Data Vault, with the ability to design efficient and scalable models
Familiarity with visualisation tools/other BI platforms, such as Tableau, Qlik, and ThoughtSpot, is an advantage.
Ability to clearly explain technical concepts and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders.
Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with stakeholders and turning data into insights (Advanced).
Knowledge of the insurance domain will be considered a decisive advantage.
